Are you interested in using our inclusive beach equipment this summer?
We are delighted to announce that our inclusive beaches will be operational this summer! Due to changes in the booking process due to Coronavirus, everyone who wishes to borrow equipment at our beaches (including those who are attending a surf event) must attend a beach safety induction meeting via Zoom before booking beach equipment.
IMPORTANT – The person who attends this session must be the person booking the equipment at the beach. If there are multiple family members or carers that may be accompanying a participant to the beach, we recommend you all attend a session as equipment WILL NOT be handed over to an individual who has not attended an induction session.

We’re Recruiting: Part-time Project Team Leader
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person who believes in our vision to join our team on a part time basis.
Aim: To plan events for young people of all abilities, ensuring those with complex disabilities are able to take part. To effectively lead the volunteers and personal care staff at events. To ensure that events run smoothly, staff and volunteers are briefed, high quality outcome monitoring and reporting is completed and that any issues are reported and dealt with accordingly.
This role is funded by Children in Need. This is a 2.5 year role. Contact us for a full role description and application form. Closes Wednesday 9 June.
We’re Recruiting: New Part-time Role!
The Community Development Officer is a new and exciting opportunity within the Mae Murray Foundation (MMF). Since our inception in 2016, we have acquired substantial resources, which we loan, free of charge, to support people of all abilities to ‘take part’ within their local communities – people who may have previously been excluded due to age, disability, sensory or medical condition. Beach wheelchairs are one such resource, which we have positioned across several council areas. We now wish to focus our efforts on raising awareness of these resources, and our other services, through the appointment of this key role. The Community Development Officer will build relationships with councils, communities, schools, third sector organisations and with other stakeholders, across the province, so that together we can help more people, more often. The successful candidate will be required to grow our family and organisational membership across the target areas, lead demonstrations of resources or equipment training, and deliver participatory membership events. Due to the nature of some of our resources, such as beach wheelchairs and adaptive outdoor equipment, the role may vary in winter and summer months.
To apply: Download the full Job Description and Application Form from the links below. Send the completed application form to info@maemurrayfoundation.org by the 14th May. You will receive notification that we have received your application form within 24 hours. Following a shortlisting process, we will be in touch if you have been short listed to the interview stage
